Erik de Bree is a civil engineering cost engineer with over thirty years of experience in complex infrastructure projects in hydraulic engineering, road construction, and tunnel construction. He also has experience with energy and drinking water production and distribution projects.
He has extensive knowledge of various costing methodologies, including SSK and the application of risk management, both deterministic and probabilistic .
Standard practice includes mapping cash flows, escalation, and financing costs. Additionally, through WBS/CBS labels, the range can be determined with an autonomous level 2 calculation.

Extensive experience with contract types ranging from RAW to 2-phase contracts, alliances, DBFM (SAA), D&C as well as E&C and construction team structures, with or without a cost table.
In addition to preparing estimates, he also has extensive experience with reviews, second opinions, and checks for market conformity.
He is a member of DACE-SIG-CEPI, is a certified Cost Engineer (CCE), and received the ‘Jan Korevear Award’ in 2022.
